Sway specialize in the jazz standard repertoire of the 20th century and aim to include all of your favourite show tunes and standards. We do perform contemporary pop sets on request with a vocalist - especially at weddings.

Sway has a strong and unique musical chemistry, developed while its members studied contemporary music together at the VCA. The group began playing together in early 2013. A main stay of Melbourne's arts precinct, Sway delivers classic jazz, skilfully treated with passion and musical sensitivity, and the security of reliability that comes only with experience.
Although the ensemble primarily acts as a trio, at the client's request the band can be arranged to include extra instrumentation such as a singer, trumpet or saxophone. With enough notice we can incorporate almost anything!
